Chris began his practice of law at the United States Department of Justice, where he represented the United States as lead counsel in over 100 federal cases. Chris’s success at the Department of Justice was recognized in October 2000, when he received an Outstanding Attorney Award.
Following his years at the Department of Justice, Chris practiced at a large D.C. law firm, representing corporate and individual clients in complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal matters in federal courts throughout the country and involving a broad range of issues including international trade, banking, legal malpractice, aviation, and environmental contamination. Consistent with his background, Chris’s practice now focuses on complex commercial litigation.
Chris is active in the community. He founded the chess club at the Portland Village School, serves on the council of the Northeast United Youth Soccer Program, and coaches soccer and baseball.
