Cody’s practice focuses on business and banking litigation, representing national and regional businesses and banks as well as individual clients in arbitration, in court, and on appeal. Cody has also filed numerous amicus curiae briefs on behalf of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association in the Oregon appellate courts.
Having grown up in his family's regional business, Cody is keenly aware of the need for assertive but prudent legal strategies. That approach is also informed by Cody’s years working for Oregon judges, which give him a strong understanding of how judges and arbitrators are likely to view a case.
Cody was born and raised in Clackamas County, Oregon. Consistent with that background, Cody brings a personal and friendly touch to his practice and is attuned to seeking out creative solutions that save clients money and hassle. Cody has an identical twin brother.
